Community Outreach

We try to be an active congregation working with our neighbors (we have been here since April 2007) to find what the immediate needs are and try to help.

We have found many people just need someone to talk to, others need help with finding organizations they may have not known existed.  Then there are the times we are called to help those that are just starting out in life that they were not prepared for.

Currently we help out the Church Community Organization, Northland Assistance Center, Gay Straight Alliance of North Kansas City, Metropolitan Lutheran Ministries, and other organizations if they wish our assistance.

Some of our members volunteer their time at the Hollis Renewal Center and also food pantries.

In the future we hope to work with the Gay, Lesbian, Bi-sexual, Transgender (GLBT) youth groups for a safe place for them to meet, watch movies or just someone to talk too.

We are a small Church but we try to stretch out to help those in need.
